Republic Day

26th January, 2024 | Secondary Section

"Salute to the heroes who sacrificed their lives to bring these glorious days to India"
75th Republic Day was celebrated on 26th January 2024 on the lawns of St.Blaise High School. The programme began with welcoming our esteemed dignitaries with the Guard of Honour. For the first time we had our very own blaisian school band who commenced the start of Guard of Honour. The chief guest was Mrs. Annie Fernandes our head clerk who graced the occasion by hoisting our National Flag after the National Anthem. It was then followed by synchronized March Past by our student council alongwith the four houses.

A breath taking performances of dances was performed by our Pre-Primary and Secondary Section. To cherish our unity and diversity speeches were said in English and Hindi by Primary and Secondary Section. A group of students from the Secondary Section performed powada to bring out our cultural heritage. Acaptivating performance of drill display was show cased by our Primary Section. A Short skit by the Secondary Section depicting the impact of social media on young minds was an eye catching performance. Our chief guest Mrs Annie Fernades then shared her thoughts which was truly inspiring. Awards were given to SSC Toppers, deserving students from Primary and Secondary Section, and winning students at the KP west ward Science exhibition for their hard work and boundless effort. Our dance students won first prize at KP West ward. The programme ended with vote of thanks. It was truly a day full of gratitude and pride.
