Seminar on Excessive Screen Use and Mobile Phone Addiction.

A seminar on “The Dangers of Excessive Screen Use and Mobile Phone Addiction” was conducted for the students of Standards IX and X on Friday, 21st August 2026, in the school hall.
The seminar was conducted in two sessions—8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for Standard X and 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. for Standard IX. The resource person, Fr. Caesar Faroz, SJ, addressed the students on the harmful effects of excessive screen time and mobile phone addiction, highlighting its impact on health, sleep, concentration, relationships and emotional well-being.
The session was highly informative and beneficial, encouraging students to reflect on their digital habits and understand the importance of using technology responsibly. The seminar provided practical insights that will help students maintain a healthier balance between technology and their everyday lives.
