October 15th is the Birth Anniversary of scientist and former President of India Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. Every school in Maharashtra state celebrated his birth anniversary as Vachan Prerna Diwas(Reading Inspiration Day) and so did St. Blaise High School.

A short Assembly was conducted by the students of standard 10 th , there after a speech was delivered enlightening the students about the importance of the day. This was followed by a reading session for the students of standard 7th to encourage reading habit among them.
